Thursday's boys' soccer roundup

The Shiiba brothers all found the back of the net for Strath Haven and the youngest scored the first goal of his career as the Panthers dropped host Ridley, 7-1, in a Central League game. Freshman Mark Shiiba collected his first goal to go with goals by brothers John and Thomas. Dennis Zonchor did most of the damage for Strath Haven with a hat trick while Joe Raymond added a goal. Joe Bencrowsky scored for the Green Raiders.

The Shiiba brothers all found the back of the net for Strath Haven and the youngest scored the first goal of his career as the Panthers dropped host Ridley, 7-1, in a Central League game.
Freshman Mark Shiiba collected his first goal to go with goals by brothers John and Thomas. Dennis Zonchor did most of the damage for Strath Haven with a hat trick while Joe Raymond added a goal. Joe Bencrowsky scored for the Green Raiders.

Penncrest used goals by Adam Muetterties-Schultz, Wade Phillips and Moshue Wamulume to beat visiting Garnet Valley, 3-1.
Adam Mondell scored for the Jaguars who got 12 saves from Joe Marino. Ian Campbell stopped 12 shots for the Lions.

Public.

 Jerome Horton came through with a pair of goals and helped Prep Charter beat host Boys’ Latin, 3-1.
Solomon Zoegar also scored for the Huskies while Herman Cox scored for the Warriors.

Jose Corona notched a hat trick and helped Furness beat host Swenson, 6-1.
Harry Bun added two goals and Phung Bao added a goal for the Falcons.

Catholic Red.

 Pat Kardish scored at the 20:45 mark in the second half and pulled St. Joseph’s Prep into a 2-2 double-overtime tie with visiting Archbishop Ryan.
Joe Gray gave the Raiders a 1-0 lead in the first half, but Ed McCartney tied the game for the Hawks later in the half. Ryan Stevens tallied for a 2-1 Ryan lead in the second half before Kardish’s goal.
Chris Gatton assisted on both goals by the Raiders while Tolani Ibikunle assisted on both Prep goals. Kyle Murphy stopped four shots for Ryan and Charlie Lewis turned aside five shots for the Hawks.

Catholic Blue.

 Joseph Hatton scored the last of his two goals 10 minutes into the second half and pulled Neumann-Goretti into a 2-2 double-overtime tie with visiting Kennedy-Kenrick.
Mike Gratzinger and Matt Maloney scored for the Wolverines in the first half when Hatton scored his first goal. John Cujdick stopped 35 shots for the Saints while Nick Gremminger turned aside 24 shots for Kennedy-Kenrick.

Del-Val.

Mosio Bella scored twice including the game-winner with 17 minutes left in the game to give Penn Wood a 2-1 win over host Interboro.
Jason McKenna gave the Bucs a 1-0 lead 20 minutes into the game, but Bella tied the game 12 minutes into the second half.
Jean-Claude Keita stopped four shots for the Patriots as did Interboro goalie Mark Whitam.

Pioneer Athletic.

John Price notched a hat trick and sparked Pottsgrove to a 5-1 win over visiting Owen J. Roberts.
Ethan Compton added a goal and an assist and Tyler Waters chipped in with a goal and two assists for the Falcons who got a four-save performance from Mike Brown.

Bicentennial.

 Brandon Reichart scored the winning goal for Christopher Dock in a 3-2 win at Lower Moreland.
Reichart’s game-winner came from 18-yards out with 13 minutes left in the game off a Ryan Seiz throw-in. He also scored a goal that tied the game, 1-1.
Adam Moyer also scored for the Pioneers while the Lions got goals from Nick Marques and Alex Martins.

Matt and Mike Kine handled the offense and handed Delco Christian a 2-0 win over host Devon Prep.
Nick Mascioli stopped a pair of shots to earn his third shutout of the season in goal while Tide goalie Justin Wicersham turned aside 11 shots.

Chris Sanford notched a hat trick and George Stock added a pair of goals to give Phil-Mont Christian a 5-0 win over visiting Girard College.
Adam McNichol earned the shutout in goal for the Falcons with four saves.

Friends Schools.

 Kenny Johnson accounted for two goals and an assist for Abington Friends in a 3-1 win over host Friends Select.
Nate Simon also scored for the Kangaroos while Ben Holl scored for the Falcons.

Manolo Sanchez scored twice his fifth and sixth goals of the season and Jason Symonette added a goal and an assist to lift Germantown Friends to a 3-0 win over host Academy of the New Church.
Jay Query picked up the shutout in goal with a pair of saves, both on breakaways.

Tri-County.

 Patrick Autken scored Phelps first six goals and led the Lions past host Collegium, 8-5.
Eskul Coliyah scored four times for the Cougars who held a 4-2 lead at halftime. Diamond Williams added a goal for Collegium while Herm Kim and Yosef Mazdim scored for Phelps.

Nonleague.

 Chris Pawlowski scored two minutes into a second overtime period and gave La Salle a 3-2 win over visiting Archbishop Carroll.
Pawlowski scored off a pass from Leonardo Romero who also scored for the Explorers who also got a goal from Darius Madison.
Ryan Flynn scored for the Patriots with 20 seconds left in regulation off a corner kick to send the game into overtime and Pat Hanna added a goal for the Patriots. Steve Kelly earned the win in goal for La Salle with a five-save effort.

Brett Campbell and Kyle McCord collected goals for Haverford School in a 2-0 win over visiting Shipley.
Max Kurtzman picked up the shutout after stopping three shots while Gators’ goalie Nick Irvine stopped four shots.
