Bill Iezzi: Moorestown Field Hockey Feat

Moorestown has played only three games this season and has won all of them, but none more impressively than against Rancocas Valley yesterday.

The Quakers, ranked No. 9 by The Inquirer, blanked RV, 2-0, on goals by Jennifer Goldenberg and Grace Ridge and a defensive effort that held RV to 0 shots in the first half.

RV (2-2) is a team that is in contention for the Burlington County Liberty Division crown, but you wouldn't know it by the Red Devils' performance.

RV goalie Teresa Matthews, who stopped 7 shots in each half, is eager for the rematch on Oct. 9.
