Field hockey: Eastern rolls

Jaclyn Beasley scored three goals as Eastern rolled to a 10-0 victory over Kingsway tonight in a field hockey game under the lights on the Vikings' turf.

Kelsey Mitchell and Emma Johannson added two goals apiece as Eastern improved to 6-0. The Vikings are No. 1 in South Jersey and have outscored opponents  by 48-2.

Eastern held a 23-0 advantage in corners. Kingsway goalie Becca May made 22 saves, while Eastern goalie Alana Barry was not forced to make a save.

"A beautiful game," Eastern coach Danyle Heilig said.
