Here is the Friday field hockey roundup:

Brittney Weideman’s second goal of the game gave host Delco Christian a 3-2 nonleague overtime win over Octorara. Weideman’s game-winner came with seven minutes left in overtime. Camille Williams also scored for the Knights. Mel Lowery and Kristen Nash scored for the Braves.


In other nonleague games:


Brooke Simone had a goal and an assist for Baldwin in a 3-1 win over visiting Academy of the New Church.


Friends Select scored four first-half goals and overwhelmed visiting Franklin Towne Charter, 7-0. The Falcons got three goals from Wylie Wilson, her first three of the season. Also scoring were Maddy Barton, Hayden Dufrene, Keara McLaughlin and Morgan Williams.


Maggie Delany’s unassisted goal with 8:48 left was all Hill School needed in a 1-0 win at Germantown Academy.


Hannah Loux’s goal in the first half gave Christopher Dock a 1-0 win at Perkiomen Valley.


Katie Gerzabek, Bree Buysse and Bridget Burns all had a goal and an assist for Notre Dame in a 3-0 win at Archbishop Carroll.

Erica Zitch singlehandedly ralllied Radnor for a 3-2 win at West Chester East, scoring the tying goal with 4:14 left in the first half and adding the game-winner less than a minute later. The Red Raiders also got a goal from Natalie Conciella. There was no scoring in the second half.

Second-half goals from Nina Cieri and Stevie Winchester gave Penncrest a 2-0 win at Academy Park.

Brittany Mace scored twice to help Springfield (Delaware County) win at Interboro, 4-0.

Strath Haven needed goals from Alex Duckenfield and Rebecca Marion to earn a 2-1 win at Merion Mercy. Kylie deGrouchey also came up big for the Panthers, turning back 13 of the 14 shots she faced in goal.

Catholic

Megan George scored four goals as host Cardinal O’Hara rolled to a 12-0 win over Bishop McDevitt.
The Lions scored eight of their goals in the second half and got two goals and a pair of assists from Katie Killeen. Lindsey McArdle and Stephanie Frantoni also chipped in with two goals apiece.

Host Archbishop Prendergast scored six second-half goals to break open a close game and beat Conwell-Egan, 8-1. Brooke Stretch scored four goals to pace the Pandas.

Ches-Mont

Kennett rallied for a 3-2 win at Coatesville, getting goals from Katie Ferree, Krissy Gallivan and Kara Granger.

Bicentennial

Paige Greshem’s two goals and an assist told the story of Plumstead Christian’s 5-0 win at Bristol.
