Ryan New broke a scoreless deadlock in the 58th minute, and Frank Pileggi needed just four saves to lift Hatboro-Horsham to a 2-0 win at Episcopal Academy.

Greg Clark converted a head pass from David Robinat into the game-winning goal in the final minute of the first half as Hill School clipped visiting George School, 2-1.

Lower Merion dealt host West Chester East a 4-0 setback with goals by Jon Dolezal, David Rosenfeld, Max Tassano and Tamir Tusia.

Goals by Voltaire Escalona and Colin Skelly were not enough to prevent Germantown Academy’s 3-2 loss at Archbishop Curley.


Coatesville Tournament. Drew Hazzard’s hat trick accounted for all the scoring by Springfield (Delaware County) in a 3-1 win over Oxford.

The host Red Raiders got a goal and two assists from Jake Woodward and seven saves from Yanni Sitsis in a 3-0 shutout of Kennett.

Vanguard Invitational. Delco Christian took the consolation game, 3-0, over host Sun Valley with Andrew Crisanti’s two goals and Jeremy Markland’s one goal and one assist.

Parkland Tournament. Faith Christian’s balanced attack produced single goals by Devin Kemmerer, Micah McClay, and Alex Stoneback in a 3-0 win over Moravian.
