Roman Catholic's Gemil Holbrook, a 6-foot-5 senior wing guard, has committed to play his college basketball at Rider.

Holbrook, a strong threat from three-point range, also considered Fairleigh Dickinson, LIU Brooklyn, and St. Peter's.

Last season, he helped the Cahillites go 23-5, advance to the Catholic League playoff final, win the District 12 Class AAAA title, and reach the second round of the PIAA Class AAAA tournament.

Holbrook netted 18 points, earning MVP honors, in Roman's 58-55 win over Martin Luther King in the District 12 final at St. Joseph's University.
