Baseball: Neumann-Goretti's Ockimey decommits from Arkansas

Neumann-Goretti senior first baseman Josh Ockimey has decommitted from Arkansas, citing "coaching and recruiting changes."

Last month, associate head coach-hitting instructor Todd Butler left the Diamond Hogs to take the top spot at Wichita State. Ockimey said Butler was "the assistant coach I was most comfortable with."

Ockimey, a starter for the Saints since his freshman year, recently participated in tryouts for USA Baseball's 18-and-under national squad at Thomas Brooks Park in Cary, N.C.
