Haverford School's Berman wins another Inter-Ac golf title

Haverford School's Cole Berman won the championship for the second straight year at the Inter-Ac Bert Linton Individual Golf Championship. The event was held Wednesday at Sunnybrook Golf Course in Plymouth Meeting.

Berman, a junior, fired a par 72 to claim the crown over one of his teammates, senior Scott Jaster, who shot a 76. Jaster is headed to Dartmouth.

Haverford School, which earlier won the Inter-Ac team title, had the top three finishers and four of the top five. Jay Lotsy (77) was third, and Timmy Brooks (78) finished in a three-way tie for fourth.

Malvern Prep's Michael Lamond and Germantown Academy's Jake Neidosik also shot 78 to tie with Brooks.

Penn Charter's Erin Lo, the lone female competitor, shot an 83, good enough for a tie for 13th place.
