Lenape’s girls’ soccer team, the five-time defending Coaches Tournament champion, has advanced to Sunday’s semifinals.

The Indians defeated visiting Rancocas Valley, 1-0 in a game that Lenape controlled throughout. Lenape continued to put pressure, but the Red Devils defense held up well.

Rancocas Valley had a few effective counter attacks, but for the most part, Lenape was in control.

Lenape (13-3) will face the winner of the quarterfinal between Olympic American foes Shawnee and Cherry Hill East in Sunday’s semifinal at Eastern. The girls’ semifinals will be at 4 and 6 p.m. but the time Lenape will play has not been determined.
