William & Mary running back Jonathan Grimes, a graduate of Paul VI, has signed a free agent contract with the Houston Texans.
“I’m really happy for him,” Paul VI football coach John Doherty said. “It couldn’t happen to a better person.”
As a senior Grimes earned All-American honors from four organizations.
A resident of Palmyra, he rushed for a school record 4,441 career yards at William & Mary.
