Phil Anastasia: Seneca baseball: Oh Brother

Seneca has three seniors who were eighth graders when their older brothers played for Seneca's 2007 state championship team.

Now the younger brothers are trying to make their own history.

Ryan Williams, Mark Steen and Roger Hoffmann all watched the state title game in 2007.

Their older brothers -- Dan Williams, Rich Steen and Evan Hoffmann -- were members of the Seneca team that beat Cranford that day to win the program's only state title.

Seneca plays Paramus in the Group 3 state title game Saturday at 2 p.m. at Toms River East.

Read the full story of the brother connection in Saturday's Inquirer.
