Phil Anastasia: Seneca beats Moorestown 24-14

I've seen some crazy games.

This one ranks up there.

Seneca won the SJ Group 3 baseball title with a 24-14 victory over Moorestown on Friday.

Ryan Williams had 4 hits and 4 RBIs and Gabe Santone hit two homers and drove in 6 runs for the Golden Eagles.

They advance to play Middletown South in Tuesday's state semis at Rutgers.

Seneca scored 11 runs in the top of the first.

Moorestown scored 7 runs in the bottom of the first.

"Craziest game I've ever been part of," Seneca coach Sean Cassel said.

Mark Steen had three hits and five RBIs for Seneca.

Justine Chrone had three hits and four RBIs for Moorestown.

Seneca right-hander Kevin Comer pitched the final two innings. He allowed one infield single and no runs. He struck out two, throwing 23 pitches.
