At a time of the softball season when many coaches are coaxing their batters to put the ball in play, Kingsway has come out smokin'.

The Dragons have scored 47 runs in the first four games of the season. Pitcher Dominique Ficara has won all of those games, allowing only seven runs.

Kingsway is 2-0 in the Tri-County Conference Royal Division and is scheduled to clash with host Williamstown, which shared the division title with the Dragons last season, at 4 p.m. on Friday.

Williamstown is 2-0 overall and 2-0 in the division behind pitcher Tierra Sanabria. The Braves are hitting, too, scoring 21 runs and allowing six.
