Bill Iezzi: Delia's Desire

After Curt Delia pinned Brearley' Andrew Scarillo in 1 minute, 26 seconds Sunday afternoon at 135 to give Delsea a 9-0 lead in the Group 2 semifinals, the junior elaborated.

"Starting at 130 is an advantage because our core group is between 130 and 171," Delia said. "We should have a nice cushion."

Unfortunately for the Crusaders that cushion didn't materialize. Delsea won only two more bouts and Brearley captured the match, 42-18.
