As the Haddonfield wrestling team prepares to embark upon a mission to capture the South Jersey Group 2 team championship, coach Pete DiPol is comforted by the knowledge that the Bulldogs are well prepared.
"We can wrestle with anybody," DiPol told me on the eve of Haddonfield's semifinal match with visiting Haddon Township.
Haddonfield drew a bye as the No. 1 seed. Township, the No. 5 seed, beat Haddon Heights, 37-29, in a quarterfinal match on Feb. 7 to advance.
The Bulldogs have a 27-1 record, the best in the state, according to Intermatwrestle.com.
