S.J. Football: Shawnee's Lucas commits to Villanova

Two-time All-South Jersey linebacker Dillon Lucas of Shawnee said Monday that he has committed to attend Villanova on a football scholarship.
Lucas visited Villanova this past weekend. He also was involved with Duke, Buffalo, Pitt, Cincinnati and James Madison, among other schools.
"The energy of the team was very high," Lucas said. "I just liked the atmosphere and feel of Villanova football."
Lucas was hampered last season by a shoulder injury. He said he has been rehabbed his shoulder and hopes to be ready to play in 2001.
