S.J. Football: Cherry West beats Cherry East, 13-12

Senior Terrell Williams ran 22 times for 93 yards as Cherry Hill West beat cross-town rival Cherry Hill East, 13-12, on Thanksgiving Day morning.

It was the fourth consecutive victory in the 42-year-old series for Cherry Hill West.

The Lions finished 2-8 with victories in their last two games.

The Cougars finished 1-9.

Cherry Hill East closed within 13-12 with four minutes, 40 seconds remaining in the game.

The Cougars lined up to try for the two-point conversion. Coach Tom Coen and one of the team's wide receivers were both signalling for a timeout but the play went off and quarterback Blaise Paglione was stopped short of the goal-line.
