You vs. Me

Join me in's NCAA Tournament pick'em contest in a special group for blog readers.

You vs. Me

I am well aware that many of you think I have no idea what I'm talking about. And as happens every year, you now have the chance to prove it.

I've set up a special group within's NCAA Tournament pick'em game for Soft Pretzel Logic readers. I hope you'll join me.

There's a full-bracket contest here and a round-by-round contest here. For both groups, the group name is Soft Pretzel Logic and the password is pretzel (all lower case).

You can get a printable bracket here and find all kinds of nifty stats and projection tools on our special Tournament Toolbox page.

Finally, be sure to check out Philly Hoops Insider for breakdowns of all four regions and a complete schedule of first-round tip times. Of particular consequence is that Villanova and Temple both play at 12:30 p.m., Thursday and Friday respectively.

One thing Hoops Insider did not post is the full list of announcer and venue pairings. Here it is:

Thursday venues

Providence: Verne Lundquist and Bill Raftery
New Orleans: Dick Enberg and Jay Bilas
Oklahoma City: Kevin Harlan and Dan Bonner
San Jose: Spiro Dedes and Bob Wenzel

Lundquist and Raftery will call the Villanova game.

Friday venues

Jacksonville: Jim Nantz and Clark Kellog
Buffalo: Gus Johnson and Len Elmore
Milwaukee: Ian Eagle and Jim Spanarkel
Spokane: Tim Brando and Mike Gminski

Nantz and Kellog will call the Temple game. It's also worth noting that Gus Johnson was at the mic the last time Syracuse played Vermont in the NCAA Tournament. In case you forgot what happened that day, you might want to watch the video below.

Let's have at it, shall we?
