Upper Dublin wins the high school boys' DMR

Mike Palmisano probably knew he had it in the bag all long.

Palmisano took the baton for the anchor leg of the high school boys' Distance Medley Relay in second place, and was quite content to draft behind West Windsor Plainsboro North's Jim Rosa (yes, that's one school) for three and a half laps.

But right as the pair hit the Wall of Fame on the last lap, Palmisano hit the gas pedal, and that was it.

Much to the delight of one of the relays official timers behind me who spent the whole race yelling at the team, Upper Dublin won the race in a total time of 10:08.48. West Windsor Plainsboro North (there it is again) clocked 10:11.28, and Manalapan came from 14th place to finish third in 10:12.78.

Full results are here.
