Taylor King leaves Villanova basketball program

Villanova's athletic department announced tonight that forward Taylor King has left the program.

King's withdrawal is voluntary, and he will remain at the school to finish his degree.

ESPN.com's Dana O'Neil reported earlier this evening that King left the team "following a violation of team rules."

I have no further information, but I'm sure some of you will bring up King's benchings during the regular season finale and the NCAA Tournament game against Robert Morris. Which is to say that this isn't the first time that King has been in the headlines.

As for this instance, though, we don't know anything more than what has been reported as of now.
