Spectacle of the Week and Top 10 Comparison

Time to head back to the ballot box. There are quite a few good games this weekend, highlighted by Notre Dame-Michigan and USC-Ohio State.

I will be in Newark, Del., for the Richmond-Delaware game. Kickoff is at 3:30 and I'll try to run a live chat during the first half. I hope you'll join me.

I know that a few of you out there are Blue Hens fans. If so, let me know if you'll be at the game.

In addition to that game, two other games of note did not make this week's poll that could be interesting.

What's the Spectacle of the Week?
Syracuse at Penn State (12:00 p.m., Big Ten Network)
Iowa at Iowa State (12:00 p.m., Comcast SportsNet/FSN)
Texas at Wyoming (3:30 p.m.)
Notre Dame at Michigan (3:30 p.m., ABC)
UCLA at Tennessee (4:00 p.m, ESPN)
Lehigh at Villanova (7:00 p.m., WFMZ-69)
USC at Ohio State (8:00 p.m., ESPN)

Big East favorite Pittsburgh goes to Buffalo, which reached the MAC title game last season to much fanfare after years of futility. But the bigger chance of an upset could be just south of the Mason-Dixon Line from here, as CAA powerhouse James Madison visits Maryland.

The Terrapins were crushed by Cal in Berkeley last weekend, and there are real questions being asked in College Park about where things go from here.

The Dukes, meanwhile, are ranked No. 6 in both I-AA polls. That's one spot higher than William and Mary, which beat Virginia in Charlottesville last Saturday.

I had to draw the line somewhere, though, so take your pick of the games in the poll.

Now for the Top 10 comparison. Oklahoma's loss to BYU - and loss of star quarterback Sam Bradford - definitely shook things up in the AP and Coaches polls compared to last week.

But the Sooners remain at No. 3 in the Sagarin ratings. Might they not be out of the title race yet?
