The Nittany Lions will host George Mason in the first round.

Penn State in, City Six out of NIT

St. Joe's, Drexel and La Salle were all left out of the NIT, whose field was just announced.

Penn State is in, however, and will host CAA runners-up George Mason in the first round. That game will take place at 8 p.m. Tuesday and will air on ESPNU.

Other notable matchups include Georgetown at Baylor, Duquesne at Virginia Tech, Rhode Island at Niagara and Davidson at South Carolina.

Once upon a time, Duquesne-Virginia Tech would have been an Atlantic 10 conference game...
