It's been a heck of a season. This blog isn't going completely dark yet, but I doubt there will be more than one or two posts between now and the Penn Relays,

My sincere thanks to all of you for reading the blog contributing your comments. This thing would not be what it is without your passion for college basketball and the other sports I write about, as well as your desire to be a part of the community that we've built over the last three years.

I fell in love with the Big 5 at first sight upon moving to Philadelphia in 2002. At various points in my journalistic career, I've covered all six of the region's Division I teams. During that time, I've eaten many soft pretzels from the Palestra's concession stands, which is how this blog got its name.
