Marion Jones speaks at Penn

Can it really have been that long ago since Marion Jones received one of the loudest roars I've ever heard at Franklin Field?

Jones won't be seen on 33rd Street this year, but she was a few blocks up Walnut Street on the Penn campus today, giving a speech on race and gender in sports. Staff photographer Sarah J. Glover was there, and put together a video with highlights of Jones' remarks.

I think it's fair to call it more than a little strange that Jones gave a speech about sports at Penn on the weekend of the Relays. I'll leave it to you to fill in the rest of that thought.
