Lundquist, Raftery to call Villanova-Duke

And is Billy Packer returning to CBS?

Good news: Verne Lundquist and Bill Raftery will be CBS' announcing team for the East regional semifinals and final in Boston, according to a release I just got from CBS.

Dick Enberg and Jay Bilas are heading to (suburban) Phoenix for the West regional games, while Gus Johnson and Len Elmore will be in Indianapolis for the Midwest.

Jim Nantz and Clark Kellog will call the South regional games in Memphis, but believe it or not, the original release had Billy Packer's name in place of Kellog's. I figured that couldn't really be the case, but wouldn't it have been something?

Here's the full schedule:

Thursday, March 26

Glendale I: 1. Connecticut vs. 5. Purdue, 7:07 p.m. (Dick Enberg/Jay Bilas)
Boston I: 1. Pittsburgh vs. 4. Xavier, 7:27 p.m. (Verne Lundquist/Bill Raftery)
Glendale II: 2. Memphis vs. 3. Missouri (Dick Enberg/Jay Bilas)
Boston II: 2. Duke vs. 3. Villanova (Verne Lundquist/Bill Raftery)

Friday, March 27

Indianapolis I: 1. Louisville vs. 12. Arizona, 7:07 p.m. (Gus Johnson/Len Elmore)
Memphis I: 2. Oklahoma vs. 3. Syracuse, 7:27 PM (Jim Nantz/Clark Kellog)
Indianapolis II: 2. Michigan State vs. 3. Kansas (Gus Johnson/Len Elmore)
Memphis II: 1. North Carolina vs. 4. Gonzaga (Jim Nantz/Clark Kellog)

So we're looking at a start time of around 10 p.m. for Duke-Villanova. That should be pretty wild.
