Live chat: 2013 NCAA tournament Friday marathon

I have been covering college basketball in Philadelphia for a decade now, and I can't remember heading into a day as wild as this one promises to be.

UPDATE (3:50 p.m.) - No. 9 Temple advanced past No. 8 N.C. State with a 76-72 win in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

I have been covering college basketball in Philadelphia for a decade now, and I can't remember heading into a day as wild as this one promises to be.

Since I moved here to start college in 2002, the city has hosted the NCAA tournament twice: in 2006 in 2009. Both times, there were multiple local teams in the tournament field. But on both of those occasions, Villanova stayed home, so we didn't need to watch too many venues at once.

This time, it's going to be crazy. Temple's in Dayton, La Salle and Villanova are in Kansas City, and eight other teams are at the Wells Fargo Center. And if that's not enough, the end of the Owls' game against N.C. State will overlap with the start of the Explorers' game against Kansas State.

The TV schedule is here. Keep it handy.

Whether in person or from afar, we'll all be trying to follow everything at once. So keep this page open throughout the day for live updates from across the country.

As you would expect, we've got staff from the Inquirer, Daily News and Philly.com spread out in Dayton, Kansas City and here in Philadelphia. I'll be running our live chat from the Wells Fargo Center, with updates coming in from the other games.
