KYW has posted its broadcast schedule for the first round. Is there a first-round game we aren't getting that you want?

KYW's first-round broadcast schedule

(NOTE: I've added my picks for the Midwest and South regions below my picks for the East. Scroll down to see them. You'll find my picks for the West down there too once I've written down the explanation.)

KYW has posted its broadcast schedule for the first round:

Thursday

12:10 p.m.: Temple vs. Michigan State (Denver)
2:30 p.m.: Oral Roberts vs. Pittsburgh (Denver)
7:00 p.m.: Belmont vs. Duke (Washington)
9:40 p.m.: George Mason vs. Notre Dame (Denver)

Friday

12:25 p.m.: Davidson vs. Gonzaga (Raleigh)
2:45 p.m.: Maryland-Baltimore County vs. Georgetown (Raleigh)
7:00 p.m.: St. Joseph's vs. Oklahoma (Birmingham)
9:40 p.m.: Villanova vs. Clemson (Tampa)

That's a pretty good slate, though it means no Dick Enberg (Anaheim) or Kevin Harlan (Omaha) -- both of whom I like.

My only complaint with either day is that I'd much rather see USC-Kansas State than Belmont-Duke. I had a suspicion, though, that Duke's ties to the northeast U.S. would result in their game being shown.

We also know that there will be one game each on Saturday and Sunday that will be broadcast nationwide.

Saturday

2:10 p.m.: Arizona or West Virginia vs. Duke or Belmont (Washington)

Sunday

12:10 p.m.: Siena or Vanderbilt vs. Villanova or Clemson (Tampa)

Is there a first-round game we aren't getting that you want?

I guess we won't see Cornell lose to Stanford, which is weird since it's slated for 4:45. And we're not getting any games then.

Cornell-Stanford is that one annual west coast game that is outside the main broadcast windows. It will be broadcast on CBS only in the home markets of the teams, and nationally on CSTV.
