Games 22 and 23: Temple vs. St. Joe's, Georgetown at Villanova
Temple vs. Saint Joseph's
Time: 11:00 a.m.
Venue: The Palestra, Philadelphia, Pa.
TV: ESPNU (Justin Kutcher and Dickey Simmons)
Georgetown at Villanova
Time: 12:00 p.m.
Venue: Wells Fargo Center, Philadelphia, Pa.
TV/Radio: ESPN (Dave Pasch and Doris Burke)/WPEN 950-AM
We all knew this day was coming eventually, and now it's finally here. It really is a shame that both of these games are being played at the same time, because each ought to stand in its own right.
But because each matchup is so important, I've called in reinforcements to make sure we've got everything covered here on the blog. I'm teaming up with my Philly.com colleague Dave Isaac to do a simultaneous live blog of both games. Dave is at the Palestra, and I'm at the Wells Fargo Center.
I'm sure things are going to get a bit crazy during that hour in which both games overlap. But I also think this is going to be a lot ot fun, as we try to keep track of all the action in one place.
So put your feet up on the couch, put a fresh pair of batteries in your remote control, and come on in. Only in Philadelphia could we pull something like this off.
