Jay Wright came into his postgame press conference Saturday not sure of what he was going to tell his players in the locker room afterward.
Corey Fisher ended up writing Wright's speech for him.
"I've been through that," Fisher said after he led Villanova to a 74-66 win over Maryland at the Wells Fargo Center. "It was a good feeling just to see our young guys go through that, to know how hard we've got to play."
Fisher keyed the Wildcats' 19-0 run that turned the game on its head, as Villanova overcame a 12-point deficit in the second half.
"Hopefully, in the future, if we're in a situation like this again... where we cant't score, if we just keep grinding, we have a chance to go on a run," Wright said. "You can say it all you want, but if you've never done it, I think what Corey's saying is that he's experienced it but they haven't. So unless they've experienced it, they don't know they can do it."

"I've been through that, playing with Dante Cunningham, Shane Clark and Scottie Reynolds," Fisher said. "It was a good feeling just to see our young guys go through that, to know how hard we've got to play."
