Northeast Philadelphia: Some well-known campaigners

Tom Gralish reports:

11:30 a.m.

Local celebrities of sorts were campaigning outside the polling place at the Watson Comly School on Byberry Road in Northeast Philadelphia - and it had nothing to do with the presidential race.

Jack Murphy, father of U.S. Rep. Patrick Murphy, was handing out literature in support of Brendan Boyle, the Democratic candidate for the 170th Pennsylvania House District being vacated by the Republican George Kenney, who is retiring after 20 years.

Next to Murphy, Devon Kenney, 17, was handing out literature for Matt Taubenberger, Murphy's Republican opponent in the race for her father's old seat.
