Sam Wood reports:

8:38 a.m.

Republican election board workers in at least six precincts in Philadelphia have been tossed by the Democrat judge of elections, the McCain campaign is reporting. The reason provided was that they are the minority party. Election board workers guard the legitimacy of the election process.

Peter Feldman, local spokesman for the McCain-Palin ticket, said the Republican poll workers were jettisoned from the 44th Ward, 12th & 13th divisions; 6th Ward, 12th division; and 32d Ward, Division 28.

What do you expect? I had 2 McCain signs on my lawn that were stolen. It's too bad, Obama causes more division among people than all Republican candidates put together. The double standard is alive and well in the democratic camp.

I hope everyone is ready for the brave new world we're about to enter where freedom of expression is forbidden unless it marches in goose step with the party in power.

How like an Obama kool-aid drinker. Put this web site is just as bad because on your home page the headline makes you think that they were thrown out for an illegal thing. Please re-write it to say Democratic judge throws out Republican board workers.

Nice to see that the machine re-started immediately and is running smoothly. "Election board workers guard the legitimacy of the election process." Democrat judge tosses Republican election board workers -> legitimacy of election goes unguarded. Welcome to your new third world country.

There were 3 big goons outside of my V.F.W. polling place at 15th and Jackson menacing people and handing out McCain propaganda. And the inside of the building was literally wallpapered with McCain/Palin posters. So guess what, this nonsense is going to happen all day coming from both sides.

Hey Fante, didn't "this news operation" you accuse of being so one-sided endorse Obama? Never let the truth get in the way of a good rant.
