Great news for all Philadelphians! Also, good race Anne, she was a fine candidate as well. I hope to see her again in this city's politics with a bit more funding.

Feel that . . . that's Philadelphia being shaken up! The people of the First District have rejected the politics of yesterday. Good job Larry Farnese, the best candidate truly won and Philadelphia is better off for it.

It is a new day indeed. This is a pretty huge upset methinks, as I for one, and Im sure many others, thought it a forgone conclusion that we would be subjected to Jonny Doc. But my Philly-bred cynicism is starting to wear off. Excellent news!

The first district lost tonight when they gained a hand puppet for Vince "Dark Vader" Fumo. No one could have delivered over the years and been a dedicated to this district as John Dougherty who bleeds the 1st. Sometimes you win and lose and "Oh Boy" did they tonight. Talk about hood winked... You will see John around for many, many years to come and don't be suprised to see him as the senator from the 1st in the near future. As for "Dark Vader" even your best friend in the world Dick Sprague can't look at you and enjoy a meal :-( :-)))

What a shock! Johhny Doc unplugged. I only hope, the members of the Electrician's Union, see you for what you really are. A selfish leader. Congratulation's Mr. Farnese, I wish you the best.
