Hillary in Abington

Thomas Fitzgerald reports:

10:55 a.m.

A crowd is waiting to greet Sen. Hillary Clinton at the Bonnet Lane Family Restaurant in Abington, buzzing with anticipation - and maybe coffee.

"My husband and I have gone to Martha's Vineyard the same week as she does for nine years, and she has never once called," joked teacher Lita Weinstein, of Upper Dublin, a volunteer for the Clinton campaign.

She - and many other Clintonistas believe that the media have boosted Sen. Barack Obama and pecked  her over every misstep. "I really admire the way she perseveres," Weinstein said.

County Commission Chairman Joe Hoeffel said that Montgomery County is "up for grabs" on Tuesday, and whoever carries the county will do so narrowly He predicts a Clinton win statewide, in part because Obama needs a good vote out of the Philadelphia suburbs to offset her strength in other regions.

And also because this could be Clinton's last stand. "Women respond every time her back is up against the wall," Hoeffel said. "It's happened elsewehre and it's happening again."

Clinton is scheduled to shake some hands, then zip off to Bethlehem, Johnstown and State College for another long, long day of stumping.

Let's all just vote Obama on Tuesday and end this disgrace once and for all! It's time the Democratic Party unites behind the most eligible candidate, Barack Obama!

Um, both candidates are equally "eligible." Check Article II of the Constitution. But such details don't matter if you have Obama Fever!!! /sarcasm

Humor is sometimes prophetic: Hamas has endorsed Obama Comedians and wise-cracking pundits will have to veer off into more outlandish territory as there once trusted knee-slappers: “Hamas and every other terrorist organization would love Obama for President.”, or “Al Qaeda will do everything within its power to see that Obama is elected…after all they are natural allies”… Submitted by melsmitty - Apr 19, 7:54 am “Barack Obama’s foreign policy plans have even won him praise from Hamas leaders,” the McCain letter says. “We need change in America, but not the kind of change that wins kind words from Hamas, surrenders in Iraq and will hold unconditional talks with Iranian President Ahmadinejad.” McCain also said that Obama has refused to condemn former President Carter that gives great indication on what kind of foreign leadership Obama would provide if elected President. He’s looking to increase fundraising after the news makes its way into larger circles signaling to many that Obama could prove disastrous to America and the nation’s security. http://partisanreport.com/blog/?p=719

Hey Inquirer Writers/Dmeocat Syncophants, how about another story about College Students rallying to Obamma. please disregard the fact that their work experience is limited to McDOnalds, or the mall and Bing Drinking. Disregard the fact that they understand the world at 20-24 years of age. We should all follow their lead and vote for Onbamma because they have been indoctrinated in our Commie Colleges. ASK YOUR OBAMMA IF HE THINKS OJ KILLED RON & NICHOLE, His answer or lack thereof will let you know who he will be working for.

To the teacher that volunteers for Hillary, I am sorry but you're not voting in your interest. She voted for NCLB. I know of many community college teachers that don't even have health care so when she discussed how she would enforce her health care mandate stating she would levy fines and garnish wages I knew it was time to support a leader that isn't taking contributions from lobbyist. In one debate Senator Obama raised the question that finally needed to be said, who benefits from an individual health care mandates? Wouldn't the insurance companies, one of the largest lobbyist groups in washington, which reportedly have significantly contributed to Senator Clinton's senate race (Have you seen SICKO) and now her presidential campaign would love more insurance mandates; they stand to gain. Barack was right, from the beginning, if you lower costs and make it affordable adults will purchase it. His plan ensures that everyone who cannot afford insurance will have access to health care and that health care will be affordable for all of us because he focuses on controlling costs and lowering annual premium costs. This is a major difference in an issue that matters to so many of us. And while Hillary came close to apologizing for her vote to authorize the war in Iraq, I've come to understand that her votes are not rooted in moral courage as I noted in Barack's record but her record seems to be based on political calculations - what else could explain her vote AGAINST a ban on cluster bombs in civilian areas in 2006? Everything I have seen from her indicates she does not represent the type of change I can trust or one that can win in November. I am proud my vote went to Barack. He is the best candidate to lead the Democratic party; he has the moral courage Washington needs. And, I know in my heart he speaks for all of us!
