Obama in Williamsport

Proving that a 757 can land at the home of the Little League World Series.

Obama in Williamsport

Larry Eichel reports...

Barack Obama has made it to Williamsport, about a half hour behind schedule. This means he might be a little late speaking in Philadelphia tonight. One wonders how many times a Boeing 757 has landed at the Williamsport airport. After landing, the plane had to make a U-turn on the runway to get back to the terminal area. Never seen that before.

Once again, as was the case in Erie, he heard from someone who told him that she was not upset about his comments about small-town Pennsylvania. This time, the message came from a teacher. Here's what she said:

"I am a Christian. My husband is a Christian. And my husband owns guns. We are not bitter about your statement. However, we are bitter about how your opponent is spinning your statement."
