Pet of the Week: Bella

Bella has a lot of spunk!

Bella is a 10-12 year-old chocolate lab/pit mix.

She was surrendered to the animal control shelter because her owner became ill and no one in the family could care for a dog.

Despite having a gray face, Bella has a lot of energy. She enjoys walks, chasing toys, and trotting around the park! She walks very well on a leash and makes for a great snuggle buddy. So far, she appears to be house broken. Bella has some minor medical issues due to her old age and lack of veterinary care. She has badly infected ears, which are being treated and possibly are the cause of her deafness. She also is a little slow to get up from a nap, trouble with steep stairs, and gets wobbly when she stops too fast after sprinting through the house.

Nevertheless, Bella has a lot of spunk and is looking for a family to spend the rest of her life with!
