Philadelphia had its rainiest July ever last month.

Courtesy of data from the National Weather Service, we took a look at other Julys when the city got drenched. Here's how much rain fell in the 10 wettest years since the weather service began keeping records in 1872:

1. 2013: 13.24 inches
2. 1994: 10.42 inches
3. 1919: 10.3 inches
4. 1989: 9.44 inches
5. 1872: 9.2 inches
6. 1945: 8.86 inches
7. 1926: 8.4 inches
8. 1969: 8.33 inches
9. 1889: 8.29 inches
10. 1996: 8.17 inches
