3) Rick Santorum is baffled by the pope. "It's sometimes very difficult to listen to the pope and some of the the things he says off the cuff..."

4) Environmental group settles lawsuit against state over listing as "terrorist organization." The Gas Drilling Awareness Coalition will keep pressing its defamation case against the private spy group that labeled them a threat.

5) Why NewsWorks' new politics blog is named NinetyNine. It has nothing to do with Barbara Feldon, Toto or the New England steakhouse chain.
