Your look at five stories developing today.

Here's your daily look at five stories we're following:

1. Nurses strike: A bargaining session is scheduled for this morning for union nurses at Crozer-Chester Medical Center, who have been on strike since Sunday, and hospital management. Nurses say they plan to continue picketing today.

2. Ride-sharing: A Pennsylvania House committee is expected to vote today on a bill that would set up rules for "transportation network services" -- like Uber and Lyft  -- to operate in Pennsylvania, including Philadelphia.

3. Gay-beating charges: Philadelphia police say the department has handed its investigation into a Center City attack on a gay couple over to the District Attorney's Office, which will now decide whether to file charges. Meanwhile, two state lawmakers from the Philadelphia are planning to hold a rally in Harrisburg today to promote a bill that would expand Pennsylvania's hate-crimes law to include attacks motivated by the victim's sexual orientation, gender or gender identity.

4. Gov-race cash: Formal campaign-finance reports with detailed information about donors to Gov. Tom Corbett and Democratic opponent Tom Wolf are due to be filed today. Summaries released Monday showed Wolf with a $1.7 million cash advantage.

5. Ironworkers plead: Two of the 10 Ironworkers Local 401 members who were indicted earlier this year on racketeering conspiracy and other charges pleaded guilty in federal court on Monday, two others are scheduled to plead today, and plea hearings for later this fall are set for three other defendants.
