Here's your look at five stories we're following today:

1. Shane Montgomery search: Family members of Shane Montgomery are weighing their next steps after another search of the Schuylkill River turned up no new leads in the disppearance of the college student from Roxborough, who vanished on Thanksgiving in Manayunk.

2. Child killed by cop car: A 10-year-old boy died after he was struck by a police cruiser that was responding to a call in Franklin Township on Sunday night.

3. Palmer students: The Philadelphia School District says it will immediately accept students transferring from the William D. Palmer charter school, which abruptly closed. Students can begin at the school district as soon as classes resume on Jan. 3.

4. Missing jet: Indonesian officials say objects have been spotted in the sea in the search for missing AirAsia jet and investigators' working hypothesis is that the "plane is at the bottom of the sea."

5. One year for A.C. mayor: Atlantic City Mayor Don Guardian is marking his first year on the job this week.
