Report: Vehicles most targeted by thieves

What's the favorite target of auto thieves?

The Ford F-250 has replaced the Cadillac Escalade as their favorite target, according to a new report by the Highway Loss Data Institute (HLDI).

The report says that's because of new antitheft technology on the Escalade, as well as its waning popularity, has made the luxury SUV less desireable for theft.

But auto thieves still continue to target large pickups and large SUVs at higher rates than other vehicles.
