New $100 bill is full of Philly images

The new $100 bill is finally being released today, Oct. 8, with ceremonies at the Franklin Institute. The location is fitting, of course, because it features the face of local legend Ben Franklin, the reason C-notes are also called Benjamins. But he's not the only Philadelphia connection on America's largest currency in production. The Declaration of Independence and the Liberty Bell, part of two new security features, join a new view of Independence Hall. See NewMoney.gov for more information on the new $100 bill.
