Here's your daily look at five stories we're following:

1. Convention Center labor: The board of the Pennsylvania Convention Center has approved new work rules that will let exhibitors do more of their own work. Four of the six unions that work at the site have signed on to the agreement, and the two remaining unions -- the Teamsters Local 107 and Carpenters Local 8 -- could no longer be working at the center by the weekend.

2. Philadelphia Award: John and Leigh Middleton will accept the Philadelphia Award this afternoon. The prestigious honor recognizes significant contributions to the Philadelphia community. The couple typically operates anonymously, but have donated extensively to Project HOME, the University of Pennsylvania, the Philadelphia School District and other institutions.

3. Big Cat Crossing: The Philadelphia Zoo's new Big Cat Crossing is being unveiled today, providing a place for the zoo's large felines to roam above visitors.

4. Power station payments: Gloucester County freeholders are scheduled to discuss "possible litigation" today against West Deptford Township related to a dispute over payments for a new power station. The county says it hasn't gotten payments in lieu of taxes for the station for the past two years.

5. Retribution lawsuit: A decision is due today in a court case involving a former assistant prosecutor in Hunterdon County who says his firing was politically motivated, possibly from as high up as New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.
