Happy Friday. Here's your look at five stories to know about before the weekend:

2. Boston attack: A funeral home has claimed the body of Boston Marathon bomb suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev. Officials should soon release the cause of his death. Tamerlan died after a gunbattle with police, and is also believed to have been run over by his brother and the surviving suspect in the bombing, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. Law enforcement sources have also told various news outlets that the brothers initially planned their attack for the Fourth of July. More on the latest updates about the bombings.

3. Business owners wait for Sandy relief: A photo of President Obama embracing Donna Vanzant, a shop owner in Brigantine, is one of the iconic images of Superstorm Sandy. But months later, business owners in New Jersey say they're still struggling, even as public officials tout the amount of aid paid to shore residents.

4. Cinco de Mayo: Sunday is Cinco de Mayo, so we have a round-up of the top parties to check out.

5. Trotter film debut: The North Star, a locally produced film about a runaway slave starring former Eagles linebacker Jeremiah Trotter made its  debut in Doylestown Thursday evening. The event wasn't without drama of its own: The star was stuck in traffic and director Thomas Phillips spent the day in civil court, defending an attempt from two producers to stop the screening.
