1. Chaput, Nutter, Corbett to Vatican: Diocese of Philadelphia Archbishop Charles Chaput is slated to announce today that he, along with Mayor Nutter and Governor Corbett, are headed to the Vatican later this month to meet with Pope Francis. At the March 26 audience with the pope, they'll discuss the September 2015 World Meeting of Families that 's expected to draw hundreds of thousands of people to Philadelphia.

2. Verdict nears in priest-abuse trial: A Philadelphia jury is deliberating the fate of Rev. Andrew McCormick, a Catholic priest on trial for allegedly sexually assaulting a Bridesburg parish altar boy in 1997.

3. Hunger conference: A Delaware County conference on hunger takes place at Widener University today, bringing together representatives from various agencies and nonprofits for discussions at the event, called the "New Face of Hunger."
