5 stories to follow: March 25

Here's your Monday morning round-up of five stories we're following today:

1. Camden schools takeover: Gov. Chris Christie plans to announce today that he is putting the Camden School District under state control. Christie will appoint a new superintendent and leadership team to the state's worst-performing school district, the Inquirer reports. Three other New Jersey school districts are also under state control.

2. Powerball winner: Someone in New Jersey now has an extra $338.3 million. A ticket sold in New Jersey won the Powerball jackpot. It's the largest lottery prize in state history. Officials are slated to reveal where the winning ticket was sold at a 10 a.m. news conference. The manager of a Burlington County truck stop told NBC Philadelphia that the ticket was sold at his Bordentown store.

3. La Salle wins: The 13th-seeded Explorers beat Mississippi, 76-74, to head to the Sweet 16. La Salle faces Wichita State on Thursday. Temple, meanwhile, fell to Indiana. Here's the Sweet 16 TV schedule.

4. Spring snow: It's late March, but two to four inches of snow are expected to fall today.

5. Missing student: The search continues for Sunil Tripathi, a 2008 Radnor High School graduate who is now a student at Brown University. The 22-year-old student has been missing since March 16, and the search for him expanded over the weekend to encompass Providence, Boston, Connecticut, New York and Philadelphia.
