Happy Friday. Before taking off for the weekend, here are five stories to know about:

1. Christie and Clinton: New Jersey Republican Gov. Chris Christie will participate in a discussion with former President Bill Clinton at the Clinton Global Initiative today. The two will share the stage at the Chicago event for a discussion called "Cooperation and Collaboration: A Conversation on Leadership."

2. L&I inspector blamed himself for collapse: Ronald Wagenhoffer, inspector who had examined the building that collapsed at 22nd and Market streets last week, fatally shot himself Wednesday night and blamed himself for the collapse. In a video message obtained by NBC10, the 52-year-old said: "It was my fault. I should have looked at those guys working, and I didn't. When I saw it was too late. I should have parked my truck and went over there but I didn't. I'm sorry."

3. U.S. Open: Play continues today at the U.S. Open at the Merion Golf Club in Ardmore. 4. NFL security changes: Backpacks, purses, cushions and more are now banned at Lincoln Financial Field and other NFL stadiums under a new security policy.

5. Justice's calls raise concern: Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice Seamus McCaffery raised objections to a Common Pleas judge hearing a civil case by a firm that paid his wife a referral fee, a move some legal experts are calling improper. The FBI is investigating referral fees paid to Lisae Rapaport, McCaffery's wife and chief aide.
