Happy Friday. Here's your look at five stories to know about before the weekend starts.

1. Wing Bowl: It's the 22nd annual WIP 94 Sportsradio Wing Bowl today. Check out Philly.com's complete coverage.

2. Super Bowl: The Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks face off in Sunday night's Super Bowl, being held in East Rutherford, N.J.

3. Poet laureate: Frank Sherlock will be named Philadelphia's second poet laureate at a City Hall ceremony today.

4. Broad Street Run lottery: The lottery for slots in May's Blue Cross Broad Street Run opens on Saturday. It's the second year the 10-mile race is having runners register using a lottery system.

5. CAPA show saved: After news reports detailed the financial plight the High School for Creative and Performing Arts' annual spring musical, donors stepped in with funds for the show. A parents group had set today as a deadline to raise money toward the show.
