1. N.J. man missing in Israel: A massive search has been launched in Israel for 23-year-old Aaron Sofer, an Orthodox Jewish man from Lakewood who went missing while hiking near Jerusalem.

2. Freeh hurt in crash: Former FBI director Louis Freeh, who was hired by Penn State to investigate the university's handling of the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse scandal, was seriously injured in a car crash in Vermont.

3. Abduction trial: Testimony is underway in the trial of Christina Regusters, accused of abducting a 5-year-old girl from her West Philadelphia elementary school and sexually abusing her. On the trial's first day, the woman's lawyer told jurors that Regusters had been sexually assaulted herself, and witnesses described chaos at Bryant School after the girl was taken.

Person of interest in Holmesburg murders: Police are questioning a house guest in the weekend shooting deaths of 67-year-old Dollie Evans and 59-year-old Ruby Thomas, found slain in a Holmesburg home. Officials say the 25-year-old man, who had been staying with the women, is a "person of interest" in the case.
