Here's your daily look at five stories we're following:

1. Taney's game: The Taney Dragons take on a team from Las Vegas at the Little League World Series tonight. Star pitcher Mo'ne Davis is on the cover of Sports Illustrated, fans are buying up Taney gear, and Mayor Nutter is hosting a watch party for the game at the City Hall courtyard. 2. Ferguson legal developments: A grand jury in Missouri is slated to begin hearing evidence today about the fatal shooting of Michael Brown -- a black, unarmed teenager -- by a white police officer in Ferguson. The shooting has sparked widespread protests in the St. Louis suburb (pastors from the Philadelphia area marching with demonstrators have been hit with tear gas), and Attorney General Eric Holder is headed there today.

3. Child predators: Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane, state legislators and law enforcement officials are set to meet today in Upper Providence to discuss ways to fight child predators.

4. Casino rally, prayers: Employees who are slated to lose their jobs when three Atlantic City casinos close over the next few weeks are holding a rally and prayer service tonight.

5. Christie in Oklahoma: New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is on the road again in his role as chairman of the Republican Governors Association. The potential 2016 presidential candidate is attending events in Oklahoma City with Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin, who is running for re-election.
