1. Officer-involved shooting: A Philadelphia police officer was wounded in a shootout in Tacony overnight; officers returned fire, killing the suspect.

2. Dilworth Plaza reopening: Officials are set to announce the opening date for the renovated Dilworth Plaza at a news conference today.

3. A.C. jobs: A Maryland casino is holding a job fair in Atlantic City today and Wednesday, as thousands of workers will soon lose their jobs due to casino closings.

4. SEPTA labor: Negiotators for SEPTA's Regional Rail engineers and the transit agency are scheduled to meet today, in an effort to reach a new labor agreement and avert a strike that could come as early as Oct. 12.

5. Meek Mill parole: Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill has been denied early parole. He has been jailed since July 11 for violating probation, and his attorney says he will file a petition with the state Supreme Court today, asking that court to take over the case.
